Is Globalization Really Necessary?

Is Globalization Really Necessary?
WHAT IS GLOBALIZATION?
Globalization is a process of interaction & integration among the People,Companies and govt. of different nations, a process driven by international trade &investment and aided by information technology.
What is India, s biggest problem today that hamper its economic growth? One of main reason is poverty.

Now why is it necessary? Because India is basically a agricultural based country where most of the people living below under poverty line. As we know globalization is a process which basically starts in early 1991. With the process of globalization, we can see rapid progress in industrialization occurs because of FDI. Many private companies are eager to invest in our country. Due to industrialization, GDP rate of India increases to 7. 5-8% from. 5 % in 1991. So, due to industrialization, lot of job opportunities increases. So the problem of poverty can only be solved due to globalization. Silk root is an example of globalization and now countries like China,Japan,India looking to work on same link to connect Asia ,Africa and Europe. So that the can sell their products.

Advantages

1.   We can share technology and invention.

2.   We can sell our product worldwide.

3.   We can share medical knowledge & invention.

4.   We can exchange resources such as Petrol, coal, etc.

5.   West countries learn from east for ex. Yoga, Martial art etc.

6.   East countries learn from west about liberal thoughts dignity of labour etc.

7.   We can exchange books.

8.   The main advantage of MNCs is reducing unemployment.

9.   India is developing country MNCs helping India to became developed.

10.   Few MNCs are including in social activities

11.  MNCs are producing new product least effective.

Negative effects of Globalization

1.The growth of international trade is exacerbating income inequalities, both between and within industrialized and less industrialized nations.
2.     Global commerce is increasingly dominated by transnational corporations which seek to maximize profits without regard for the development needs of individual countries or the local populations.
3.     Protectionist policies in industrialized countries prevent many producers in the Third World from accessing export markets.
4.     The volume and volatility of capital flows increases the risks of banking and currency crises, especially in countries with weak financial institutions.
5.     Competition among developing countries to attract foreign investment leads to a "race to the bottom" in which countries dangerously lower environmental standards.
6.     Cultural uniqueness is lost in favour of homogenization and a "universal culture" that draws heavily from American culture.

Water resources should be nationalised

Nationalisation of water resources has both pros and cons. Though it is a sensitive issue to be handled, considerations from different state governments are to be looked before doing any proceedings in this aspect. As different water resources cater different kinds of needs, it is to be clearly understood what type of resources are to be nationalised.

Coming to pros:

1.   Nationalization can improve gross usage of water resources there by decreasing wastage.

2.   It creates employment to several people directly or indirectly.

3.    Future scope of utility of these can be estimated and implemented.

Well, the cons are:

1)    Political issues may concern the implementation of developmental activities.

2)   Corruption may go high.

3)    Inefficient monitoring leads to increased wastes of water resources.

If the Government nationalizes them the government think of the need of the water in each state. Government supplies the water to each and every state as the demand of the water. Some stages have huge amount of water in there reservoirs and some don't have a single drop. Water is essential for every one. If government takes the responsibilities then all the land comes under cultivation and it will increases the productivity of the land and there by decrease the importing of goods from other countries and increase the number quality and quantity of the goods exported to the other countries by which it will increase the Indian economy. We are still a developing country we should use each and every path to make India a completely developed country. By making the rivers nationalized the land becomes fertile and can be used for cultivation there are by the Indian labours can get some work, some food, and even Indian goods quality can also be increased.

If China began a war with India, can we defeat them?

There are many forms and methods of war.

This time, India has won. India shows its own military capabilities .
India proved that China is equally afraid of itself. Their military strength can deter
China in a certain extent. Now is the time to display diplomatic capabilities After
showing tough, withdrawal, and show the sincerity of India.  This is the style of a
superpower..

A war is very unlikely between these two biggest  asian giants. This will be the  reaction
 of various countries.

1.       United States of America: They will support India by providing them weapons and logistic support.  They are the one who will get maximum out of this war as they were one of the weapon supplier for india . But they won't indulge in direct support as this would do more damage to the American interest, and won't let this happen.

2.      Russia: Russia has been a very old friend of India and one of there biggest arms exporter. Historically there have been border issues between Russia and China but they are on a good terms now as China is there biggest partner in economically and also there largest market for millitary equipments. They won't indulge in direct support of any country. BUT in any how they will not support china due to old relationship and trade with india .

3.      Israel: This little country is a technological powerhouse and they are too involved with both parties in buisness. But in case of a war they will be supplying India with state of the art weaponry as they have done it in the past.We can see armed drones flying over himalyas maybe!

4.      Pakistan: They are the biggest enemy of India. They got the chance to open second front at Kashmirin hope to capitulate on the situation.

5.      Arab Countries: They won't openly support any country as the will be earning good petro dollars from this war.

6.      Japan: They will be in   support this war. The war will improve there technology & finance export  market in India . currently china exporting electronics item to India .

7.      European Union: They will condem China for there expansionist nature, and maybe put pressure on  them. India also having good relation with European countries

8.      Bhutan: The outcome of this war will define the future of this country and Bhutan is a peace loving nation will help india to defeat the enemy .

9.      Vietnam: They will support india as they getting good defence and trade relation with india and also takes part in joint exercise with indian forces .

10.   Taiwan: They may also become a prey to the Chinese aggression like Vietnam but it will prove very costly for them as it will be an Invitation to NATO in the war and maybe it'llbe start of third world war.

1.       There Economic break down.
2.       Loss of reputation.
3.       Future trade over with India.
4.       Lot of destruction of life and pollution level increases .

Teenagers or youth improve knowledge just with network at their home. You even can buy products through sites.

4.  Boost Communication

In the busy society, the time is being stretched by family as well as work commitments, yet social media will offer people a chance to communicate in the effective and quick way. You just need to write an update in just about 20 seconds, then that update will reach to your friends you wish it to reach instantly.

5. Education

4. Effects Of Social Media – More Comfortable, Less Sensitive
Another negative effects of social media has had on young people is they are being more comfortable online doing things that they should be more sensitive to doing. In fact, sexting is a common example of how comfortable teenagers are online. A lot of teenagers today are not too comfortable to engage in physical sexual activity in person with sexual activity online with others. Teenagers think that they are safe behind their computer display or mobile phone, so they can post semi-, even nude pictures easily. Or, in some cases, they engage in sexual conversation via Facebook chat or texting yet would not be too comfortable to have such conversations in person. Of course, not every teenager does that, but many are. Regardless of the kind of communicating, bullying or sexting, teenagers might be more comfortable doing those stuffs behind the screens than they might do in person. In recent days, social media has made that easier for young people to do those kinds of stuff than ever before.

Domestic violence facts

Domestic violence facts
  • Domestic violence (also called intimate partner violence, domestic abuse, dating violence, spousal abuse, and intimate partner abuse) is any form of maltreatment that takes place in a heterosexual or homosexual romantic relationship between adults or adolescents.
  • Intimate partner abuse is a major public-health problem, due to its affecting more than 2 million women and 800,000 men and resulting in homelessness, injury, or death of victims, billions of dollars in health-care costs, and lost work productivity.
  • Intimate partner abuse has been and in some ways continues to be endorsed in all societies through legal sanctioning of the subjugation of women and lack of legal protections for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) victims.
  • While domestic abuse strikes couples of all races, religions, social economic status, and sexual orientations, risk factors for men or women becoming victims or abusers include poverty, lack of a high school education, witnessing family violence as a child, and attitudes of male domination and substance abuse, especially alcohol abuse.
  • Warning signs for individuals to consider if they suspect they are the victim of intimate partner violence include feeling demeaned, assaulted, or excessively controlled by their partner.
  • Warning signs friends, family members, and coworkers can look for if they wonder whether the person they care about is the victim of domestic abuse include frequent absences from school or work, numerous injuries the victim tries to explain, low self-esteem, a change in their personality, fear of conflicts, passive-aggressive behavior, blaming him- or herself for the problems in their relationship, isolation from others, or stress related physical symptoms.
  • Health professionals unfortunately only screen for intimate partner abuse in about 20% of the patients seen. Domestic violence is most effectively assessed when the professional asks questions that call for more than a "yes" or "no" answer and do not directly inquire about domestic abuse, at least earlier during any assessment interview.
  • Domestic abuse is treated by establishing and maintaining the safety of the victim, providing appropriate legal consequences to the batterer, addressing the emotional impact on the victim and the problems of the abuser, particularly if one of the problems includes alcohol or other substance abuse.
  • The prognosis of domestic violence can be quite negative if it goes on untreated, in that the emotional and physical consequences of continued abuse can be severe and even end in homicide. Treatment and enhancing social supports to the victim can improve prognosis.
  • Prevention of domestic violence involves providing economic opportunity, mentors, role models, organized community programs for youth and families, a school environment that promotes prevention of abusiveness in any relationship, and adult family members who are nurturing and who provide consistent, structured support.
